Session Delivery:

The session commenced with an opening prayer and the resonant strains of the Itsekiri anthem, setting a reflective tone for the day. Emmanuel Egbe offered a brief recap of the previous session, paving the way for Roselyn Ugbeye to lead the day’s activities.

Books from the Itsekiri NextGen library were thoughtfully arranged, eagerly awaiting distribution post-opening formalities. Participants were assigned books and given 50 minutes to immerse themselves in the content. Volunteers, including Roselyn Bemigho Ugbeye, diligently supervised and noted the participants’ names during this reading period.

As the designated time concluded, participants were called upon, one by one, to share their reviews. The facilitator posed questions, probing into the details of the books, unraveling the depth of understanding and the acquisition of new words and morals.

Each review was distinguished by the participants’ commitment to acknowledging the author and illustrator, adding a layer of appreciation for the creative minds behind the books.
