    Summary:

    This session focused on ICT skills development, where participants were guided in designing an invitation card using various font sizes, styles, and colors.

    Session Delivery:

    The session began with prayers and the singing of the Itsekiri anthem. Volunteers prepared the laptops, setting them up on the tables and ensuring they were properly connected to power.

    The coordinator briefly reviewed the previous session before handing over to Debi Amadeon, who led the main activity.

  • Participants were tasked with designing an invitation card using Microsoft Word. The exercise was projected on the screen, and the facilitator emphasized paying attention to font size, style, colors, and formatting. Each participant was encouraged to turn on the computer and locate the necessary tools themselves, ensuring hands-on experience.

    Throughout the session, participants worked independently, receiving assistance only when necessary. Volunteers were available to help with any difficulties, ensuring that each participant was engaged. The practical exercise was a success, with participants demonstrating more than average proficiency in the task. Their excitement grew as they mastered each step of the design process.
