Dedicated to Empowerment: The Itsekiri NextGen Project Team
Itsekiri NextGen is driven by a passionate and dedicated Project Team working tirelessly to translate our vision into reality. This team, composed of a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Coordinator, and a diverse group of volunteers, brings together a unique blend of skills, experience, and commitment to empower Itsekiri youth.
Meet the Project Team:
Uwaomala Tedeye
Project Coordinator
Miss Uwala is a Certified Geographer and Regional Planner. She is also a certified General Health, Safety and Environmental Expert.
She has previously volunteered with the National Anti Corruption Volunteer Corps while serving the Nation.
Likewise, she is an Associate Member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria. She brings a wealth of experience in managing teenagers to this project.
Amadedon Debi
Assistant Project Coordinator
Debi is a graduate of Mathematics and Computer Science. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Intelligence and Security Studies and a Masters in Cybercrime & Information Security.
He is an ICT expert, Artist, Tutor and Creative Designer. Furthermore, he brings to the team skills in the ICT sector, creative arts and environmental sustainability.

Itsekiri NextGen is fortunate to have a dynamic team of volunteers who contribute their time and expertise in various capacities. These individuals bring diverse backgrounds in education, mentorship, business, technology, arts and culture. They are the driving force behind our programs, providing direct support to Itsekiri youngsters through:
- Mentorship and guidance: Offering valuable insights, advice, and support to young people as they navigate their personal and professional journeys.
- Skills training and workshops: Delivering engaging training sessions and workshops that equip young people with essential skills for success.
- Community outreach and engagement: Connecting with young people across the Itsekiri community, ensuring that our programs are accessible and relevant.
- Creative program development: Contributing innovative ideas and perspectives to the design and implementation of impactful programs.
Eworitsemogha Wyse
Volunteer
Eworitse is a certified Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV Pilot) Technician. He is passionate about youth development and supports this through volunteering for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He regularly volunteers with different NGOs that have impacted his immediate community.
Hendrix Omatsola Okpeyeaghan
Volunteer
Omatsola is a graduate of Geology from the University of Benin.
He supports projects centred around empowerment and human capital development, focusing on riverine and rural communities.
Omatsola is an encyclopedia of culture and tradition and supports ICI, Iwere Innovation Hub and NAIS.
Itse Mirabel Ukubeyinje
Volunteer
Itse is a media propfessional that is passionate about sustainable development, youth empowerment, and social change. She uses new media and volunteering to achieve these goals, bringing experience from child-focused projects to her team.
Diden Kingsley Gbubemi
Volunteer
Mr. Diden is certified in Project Management, Conflict Resolution, and Peace Studies. He has worked with the Women’s Trafficking and Child Labor Eradication Foundation as part of NYSC.
He is also a member of both the Delta State Youth Parliament and the Nigerian Youth Parliament. Additionally, he brings ICT and digital learning skills to the team.
Osamudiamen Weyinmi Igbineweka
Volunteer
Weyinmi is a highly skilled professional in health, safety, and environment management, with expertise in project management and rigging.
He’s passionate about sustainable development, demonstrated through his leadership in the “Keeping Your Environment Clean” program at the University of Benin and his commitment to contributing to Nigeria’s growth. He strives to add value for everyone through his work.
Roselyn Roli Oritsebemigho Ugbeye
Volunteer
Roselyn is a seasoned and experienced teacher, with eight years of experience handling children.
She obtained her degree from the University of Calabar and had one of her professional teaching courses in the prestigious university of Lagos.
She has a passion for children; hence, she has decided to dedicate her time for our future leaders.
Fregene Joseph Oritsetserundede
Volunteer
Dede is a graduate of Geography and Regional Planning. He is a conservationist and preaches sustainability.
He is experienced in managing and running youth groups, having served in various capacities over the years.
Dede also brings to the team teaching experience.
Emmanuel Fregene
Volunteer
Mr Emmanuel is an experienced Environment, Health and Safety Specialist, with a demonstrated history of working in the facilities and petroleum downstream industries.
He is adept at Research and an astute Auditor. He is an experienced operation professional.
Furthermore, he has decided to volunteer for the project due to his passion for the development of teenagers.
Ulisanmi Pessu
Volunteer
Ulisanmi is a Mechanical Engineer obtained from Federal University of Technology, Minna.
He brings to the team experience in project management.
Ulisanmi is very passionate about the development of his community and has volunteered to help improve the outcomes for teenagers in his community.
