Our young participants wrapped up our session for the year with a burst of imagination and hands-on fun!
The movie day session featured the inspiring film “October Sky.” The session aimed to motivate and empower young participants through the true story of perseverance and passion. The movie was a real life story.
A comprehensive session on the prevention of and healing from sexual exploitation, abuse, and violence was well facilitated by Dr. Tuoyo Ovie-Jack She focused on the critical issues surrounding the topics.
The session was a non competitive sports session. It was so scheduled to foster social interaction, and allow individuals of all skill levels to have fun and stay active without the pressure of competition. The participants came in with excitement but weren’t too certain of the kind of sports they were coming in for.
It was an October edition book review. E books were displayed for the children to focus on and review afterwards.
The session was to commemorate the international girl child day which was actually on the 11th of October. It is to reassure everyone that the girl child is as important as the boy child.
The session equipped participants with foundational video editing skills using cap up application and focusing on practical application and creativity.
To commemorate Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, a special session was held on October 4th, where participants showcased their creative writing skills.
Participants filed to pick their choice book which they read and later reviewed. This is in relation to the project literary mandate.
