The session was engaging, with the facilitator driving home the importance of kindness and inclusivity. Participants learned that everyone matters, and small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in someone’s life and the society at large.
Team leads and assistants were elected to rule over the affairs of their team. The free and fair election was done after the manifesto was done by each aspirant.
The Itsekiri NextGen new year session kicked off with excitement, as the coordinator announced ambitious plans to take sessions to the next level with adventurous activities and site visits.
We concluded the year with a memorable Christmas and end-of-year celebration after lots of impactful and thrilling sessions.
Our young participants wrapped up our session for the year with a burst of imagination and hands-on fun!

The session enabled participants to create and edit their own videos using Cap Cut, with the objective of mastering video editing skills and applying them to effectively communicate their ideas.

The November ICT session, led by Toju Ogharandukun, built on the previous month’s introduction to the Cap Cut app, teaching participants to edit videos by cutting, joining, and adding text, with hands-on practice sparking creativity and excitement.
The movie day session featured the inspiring film “October Sky.” The session aimed to motivate and empower young participants through the true story of perseverance and passion. The movie was a real life story.
A comprehensive session on the prevention of and healing from sexual exploitation, abuse, and violence was well facilitated by Dr. Tuoyo Ovie-Jack She focused on the critical issues surrounding the topics.
