Summary
Students successfully created digital flip books using ChatGPT for content generation and Canva for design, demonstrating creativity and collaboration. Despite technical issues and time constraints, the lesson achieved its objectives, and with minor adjustments, it can be effectively repeated to further enhance students’ digital storytelling skills.

Digital Flip Book Creation Lesson Report
Introduction
The session focused on creating digital flip books using ChatGPT for content generation and Canva for design. Students worked in groups to produce short digital books based on assigned themes, integrating AI-generated text with creative design elements.
Objectives
1. Generate content for digital books using chatbots.
2. Design digital books using Canva’s tools.
3. Collaborate effectively in groups.
4. Understand the ethical use of AI-generated content.
– Students worked in groups to generate themed content (children’s educational stories) using ChatGPT.
– Most groups crafted effective prompts, with some needing refinement for clarity.
– Groups designed digital books in Canva, adding text, images, and customizing layouts.
– Participants showed creativity in selecting visuals, but some struggled with consistent formatting.










Challenges and Observations
1. Technical issues: Laptops lagged, and some were faulty (keyboard and trackpad issues).
2. Network challenges due to rain.
3. Time constraints.
Successes
1. Visually appealing digital books with creative themes (e.g., fantasy stories).
2. Strong collaboration within groups, with clear division of tasks.
3. High engagement during the Canva design phase.
Conclusion
The lesson successfully introduced students to AI and design tools for digital storytelling. Participants demonstrated creativity and collaboration, producing engaging digital books. With minor adjustments to address technical and time challenges, this lesson can be effectively repeated.
