Session Delivery

The essay session was met with infectious enthusiasm from the participants, who had been given the topics two weeks prior. The thought-provoking topics included:

  • How social media affects our mental health
  •  How artificial intelligence is changing our lives
  • How to prevent climate change

Each participant had written their essay on a full scap paper and eagerly awaited their turn to present. After a brief review of the previous session, the coordinator acknowledged the essay writers and invited them to present according to their teams.

As each participant took turns reading their essays aloud, it was clear that they had conducted thorough research and incorporated practical knowledge gained from previous sessions. Their presentations were outstanding, with clear definitions of key terms and explicit explanations.

Standout performances came from Besinfe Etuwewe, whose essay on artificial intelligence was exceptional, followed closely by Emmanuel Okorie, who tackled the same topic. Moyowa Pessu ‘s essay on the impact of social media on mental health was also noteworthy.

As the participants presented, it was evident that their peers were learning valuable insights and would not want to miss future essay sessions. The coordinator and team did an excellent job of fostering a supportive environment that encouraged active learning and growth.
